About the Role
Kenny U-Pull is looking for a hands-on Labourer to join its St. Catharines, Ontario team. The role supports the dismantling and recycling of end-of-life vehicles and is suited to someone who enjoys practical work around automobiles and wants to contribute to a more sustainable reuse process.
The company operates 27 auto recycling yards across Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, supported by more than 400 employees. Since 2008, it has recycled over 1 million vehicles. Kenny U-Pull is part of American Iron & Metal (AIM), a worldwide metal recycling organization with over 125 sites, 4,000 employees globally, and annual sales exceeding 3.5 billion dollars.

Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle and depollute vehicles using hand tools and power tools
- Get vehicles ready for resale and/or yard display
- Remove wheels, rims, and tires from vehicles
- Clean, test, and separate batteries for resale
- Sort and arrange recovered parts for inventory
- Keep the yard and work area clean and well organized
Qualifications
- Prior experience in general labour or a similar hands-on position
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift
- Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Dependable attitude and willingness to learn multiple parts of the business
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
Work Environment
This is an on-site position based in St. Catharines, Ontario. The work involves outdoor conditions and practical vehicle recycling tasks.
