Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour along with a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage at low cost, paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off and holidays, a 401(k) plan with a 100% match up to 4%, commuter support, company-paid toll programs, and a complimentary meal during shifts.
Role Overview
The Landscaper will help keep the resort’s lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas attractive, orderly, and safe for guests, owners, and staff. The position supports both the visual presentation and day-to-day upkeep of the property while protecting the natural setting of the island.
Key Duties
- Care for lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and planting areas across the property.
- Use landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters.
- Neaten edges along sidewalks, paths, and curbs.
- Clear debris, fallen branches, and litter from outdoor spaces.
- Help plant seasonal flowers and tropical greenery.
- Check irrigation systems and escalate any issues.
- Assist with preparation for storms and cleanup after severe weather.
- Apply fertilizers and other treatments according to company procedures.
- Keep tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
- Follow safety practices and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; related hotel or similar experience is also an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience using landscaping equipment is required.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- The company will complete a motor vehicle background check.

Working Conditions
This is a physically active role that requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. The position involves lifting up to 40 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures.
Schedule
The role is for 40 hours per week. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, with possible weekend and/or holiday work as needed.
