About the Role

Dagen is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Learning & Development Specialist to provide temporary coverage during a maternity leave. This role will support learning initiatives, training administration, content organization, and learning program execution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and consistently drives projects to completion. This is a remote contract position, specifically for candidates located within the Central Time Zone, running from July to November.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and coordination of learning and development programs.
  • Maintain and update training matrices, learning records, and training documentation.
  • Assist with learning management system (LMS) activities and learning operations.
  • Organize, track, and manage learning-related projects to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Curate and refine existing content into learner-friendly formats.
  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations, training materials, content outlines, and job aids.
  • Summarize complex information into clear, concise learning content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and support learning initiatives.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively identify and resolve obstacles.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Learning & Development, Training, Organizational Development, or Talent Development functions.
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS); Workday Learning experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Experience maintaining training matrices and learning documentation.
  • Ability to create, edit, and refine presentation materials and learning content.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to summarize information effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently with limited direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities and changing business needs.

Additional Information

This is a remote contract role for candidates exclusively in the Central Time Zone. The contract duration is from July to November. Only candidates residing in the Central Time Zone will be considered.
