Job description

Role Overview

Raindrops Technology is hiring a Learning Experience Designer to reshape how its server operations teams learn, develop, and perform. This position goes beyond building individual training pieces; it focuses on crafting the full learning journey for a global workforce. The work will span everything from helping new server technicians settle in quickly to designing advanced technical development paths that support reliable infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end learning journeys for complex server operations roles, making sure the content is easy to follow, engaging, and usable on the job.
  • Own the planning and execution of workforce development initiatives for Data Technicans, including coordination with stakeholders, timeline management, and tracking business outcomes as programs scale globally.
  • Work with subject matter experts in server operations to convert detailed technical systems, safety procedures, and operational processes into learner-friendly experiences.
  • Define meaningful success measures such as readiness for the role, faster productivity, and improved retention, rather than relying only on course completion numbers.
  • Partner across functions and time zones to keep learning programs aligned with operational goals and delivery schedules.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in learning experience design, instructional design, or UX, along with evidence of solving complex performance and training challenges through thoughtful design. You should also be comfortable leading programs at scale in fast-moving environments and collaborating with technical teams in data center, hardware, or server operations settings.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to use design thinking and UX methods to understand learner needs and create intuitive learning paths.
  • Strong instructional design capability, including curriculum planning, microlearning creation, and performance support development.
  • Visual and interaction design skills to create clear, usable, and engaging learning assets.
  • Experience with digital learning formats such as e-learning, simulations, blended learning, and just-in-time resources.
  • Comfort using LMS platforms, authoring software, prototyping tools, and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working in remote, cross-functional settings.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to test, improve, and measure learning impact based on feedback and adoption patterns.
  • Relevant academic background in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, HCI, Education, Design, or a similar area, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Exposure to enterprise technology, AI, or consulting environments is considered an advantage.
