Role Summary
The firm is looking for a part-time Legal Secretary to work from its Cork office. This position supports the day-to-day running of legal matters by preparing documents, keeping calendars organized, maintaining records, and handling routine office administration. The role also plays an important part in supporting client communication and ensuring legal processes move smoothly.
Key Duties
- Prepare and manage legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and diary entries.
- Keep records organised and up to date.
- Carry out routine clerical and administrative tasks.
- Support legal procedures and internal office operations.
- Assist with client communication and correspondence as needed.
Required Background and Skills
- Good knowledge of legal document preparation and the legal environment.
- Experience supporting legal staff, including filing and handling correspondence.
- Strong diary management and organisational ability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using standard office applications and legal research tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information carefully and discreetly.
- Previous experience in a legal setting is a strong advantage.
- A certificate or diploma in legal administration or a related subject is preferred.
