Job Overview

Salayel Hospitality is hiring alert and dependable Lifeguards to safeguard guests in swimming pools, beach areas, and other water-based leisure spaces. The role focuses on keeping the environment secure while providing courteous, hospitality-driven service.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep a constant watch over guests using pool and water recreation facilities to ensure their safety.
• Supervise swimming activity and apply pool rules and safety guidelines consistently.
• Carry out water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when needed.
• Inspect the pool zone regularly to spot hazards and report them.
• Keep poolside furniture and equipment tidy, orderly, and in the right place.
• Check that rescue gear, first aid supplies, and AED equipment are available and ready for use.
• Assist guests politely and respond to questions related to safety.
• Log and escalate incidents, injuries, accidents, and maintenance concerns without delay.
• Work with Security, Engineering, and Recreation teams whenever support is required.
• Follow all local regulations and Salayel Hospitality standard operating procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A valid lifeguard certification such as Ellis, Red Cross, ILS, or another UAE-approved equivalent.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required.
• Prior lifeguarding experience in a hotel, resort, or leisure venue is an advantage.
• Good swimming ability and strong physical condition.
• Confidence to stay composed and respond rapidly in emergencies.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
