About The Role
We are seeking a proficient and experienced operator to manage both a Wheel Loader and a Wheeled Material Handler at our Dunedin port facility. This permanent, full-time position offers stability and is perfectly suited for an individual with substantial log handling expertise. The role involves working 12-hour shifts.
Specific Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate wheel loaders and material handlers within the Dunedin port log yard.
- Safely organize, move, and load logs throughout the yard.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the operational team to ensure seamless workflow.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in operating wheel loaders and/or material handlers.
- A robust background in log handling operations.
- A proactive approach with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Possession of a Full NZ Driver’s License.
- Availability and ability to work rotating shifts.
