Maintenance Planning Manager

Role overview

This is a part-time, on-site opportunity in Dubai for a Maintenance Planning Manager. The position is centered on organizing and monitoring maintenance activities so equipment continues to run efficiently and reliably.

Key duties

You will be responsible for building and coordinating maintenance schedules, leading preventive maintenance planning, keeping maintenance documentation up to date, and working closely with suppliers and contractors. A key part of the role is ensuring that all work follows required safety rules and standards.

The role also involves identifying ways to strengthen maintenance workflows, improve overall productivity, and cut unnecessary equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and operations management
• Understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and risk management
• Strong organizational ability, along with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading teams and coordinating with suppliers
• Comfort using maintenance management software
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a similar field
• Prior background in maintenance management within an industrial or facilities environment
• Ability to work on-site and manage tasks that are time-sensitive
