Job description
Role overview
This position is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to contribute to the improvement of advanced AI systems. The work is fully remote, and you can organize your own hours. Team members may use this as a side project alongside a full-time job, while others may choose to focus on it more heavily.
What you will do
You will collaborate with modern AI models on cybersecurity-focused tasks, checking whether their outputs are accurate and useful in real-world scenarios. The role includes reviewing AI-created security content, working through technical security challenges, writing explanations, and offering feedback that helps improve how the models handle real threats and defensive practices.
How the process works
After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that functions as the selection step. Candidates who pass will receive an email confirmation, after which paid assignments can be accessed through the platform.
Compensation and contract details
Projects are paid by the hour, with starting rates ranging from $50 to $100+ per hour. Some assignments may also include bonus pay. This is an independent contractor arrangement, and payment is handled through PayPal. You will never be asked to pay any fee to participate.
Working style
You can choose the projects you take on and decide when to work. The role is done on your own computer from your home or another remote setup.
Eligibility and location
This opportunity is open only to candidates located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity. Relevant backgrounds include penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, and related government or military cyber work. Basic coding ability is required, along with the ability to work within and modify an existing codebase. Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level and excellent writing skills are also important. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.
