Overview
This role is focused on tendering for control and protection, as well as substation automation systems. The position offers exposure to multiple stakeholders, varied assignments, and strong learning opportunities on future projects across global markets. You will be part of a collaborative, transparent, and adaptable tender management team that supports growing demand for solutions aligned with environmental goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Study customer requirements and build bill of materials, exception lists, and detailed product configurations.
- Prepare precise pricing estimates based on the scope outlined in the tender.
- Work with the team manager to define bid pricing and the overall proposal strategy.
- Take part in risk review activities in line with company policy when required.
- Review commercial and legal aspects of the offer together with front-end sales and the commercial/legal advisor.
- Track tender milestones and follow up continuously on scope and timelines.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional and cross-border teams while working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Share feedback from the process with the wider organization to improve ways of working.
- Help ensure customers receive high-quality deliverables on schedule.
- Maintain compliance with external regulations, internal rules, procedures, and guidelines.
- Act in line with the company’s safety and integrity values by taking responsibility for your actions and supporting colleagues and the business.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have an engineering background in electrical and electronics, along with strong experience in tendering and engineering work. The role calls for sound knowledge of protection and control products and substation automation systems, a strong focus on quality and standardization, and the ability to support risk assessment activities. Analytical thinking, negotiation ability, confident communication, presentation skills, and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are important for success.
