Role overview

REI is looking for a Logistics Manager who can help direct how merchandise flows through the supply chain so customers and communities receive a dependable experience. This position plays a key role in coordinating transportation and distribution activities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting a supply chain that is efficient, scalable, and service-oriented.

What you will do

  • Oversee day-to-day logistics activities across inbound, outbound, and international transportation.
  • Work with partners across the business to streamline workflows, lower costs, and improve service quality.
  • Shape logistics direction and help teams adopt improved ways of working.
  • Monitor performance through key metrics and identify areas where operations can be strengthened.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors while supporting contract and service oversight.
  • Coach team members, share feedback, and communicate clearly to support growth and development.

What you need to bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a closely related area.
  • Prior experience managing people and supporting employee development.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across functions.
  • A background in process improvement and data-informed decision-making.
  • Experience handling vendor relationships and logistics operations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay and benefits

This role offers a salary range of $98,300 to $157,400 per year.
