The company operates with a fully distributed team, working asynchronously across multiple continents. It also places strong emphasis on innovation, including the use of automation and AI in role expectations.

Role overview
The Mobility team supports a global workforce by handling employee moves across borders, immigration compliance, and relocation support. The function works to keep international work arrangements legally sound, reduce risk, and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. It also improves processes related to compliance for remote work and business travel.
This position sits within the Onboarding and Mobility team and offers the chance to shape global mobility operations at a key stage of the company’s growth.
What the role involves
- Leading a remote-first, high-volume operational team and delivering on team outcomes independently.
- Building short- and long-term plans that support the Mobility team’s goals and timelines.

Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings leadership experience in remote, fast-moving operations environments, along with a strong background in immigration compliance, global mobility, or related immigration work. A practical understanding of typical immigration processes is important, as is the ability to work independently and lead with a people-first mindset.
Experience in a tech company or a hyper-growth environment is preferred. Strong English communication skills are required, and additional languages are an advantage. Prior remote work experience is also helpful.

Compensation and benefits
This is a full-time position with an annual base salary range of USD 48,300 to USD 122,350. Final pay depends on location, relevant experience, transferable skills, training, market conditions, and business needs. The company uses geographic pay ranges and may revise the salary band over time.
Remote’s compensation philosophy is designed to support fairness, equity, and pay transparency across locations. Internal pay changes for lateral or internal moves are reviewed case by case by the Total Rewards and People Enablement team.
Benefits and perks may vary by country, but the global package includes work-from-anywhere flexibility, paid time off, flexible working hours, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, mental health support, stock options, a learning budget, home office equipment and IT support, and a budget for local social events or co-working spaces.
Working style
The company works asynchronously, so team members can organize their schedules around life rather than meetings. The role expects ownership, proactive decision-making, and a bias toward action. Work-life balance is emphasized, and employees are encouraged to prioritize family and personal needs where possible.
Application notes
Applicants should submit a CV in PDF format and provide the application in English. If a current CV is unavailable, a LinkedIn profile may be shared instead.
The company welcomes applicants from under-represented communities and supports accommodations during the interview process. Candidates may be asked to share pronouns during interviews and can choose to complete an anonymous demographic questionnaire. The organization also encourages candidates to bring thoughtful use of AI while preserving authenticity and human judgment. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
The company supports employee belonging through four employee resource groups: Women, Disability, Queer, and Minorities in Tech.
Equal opportunity statement
The employer values a workforce made up of people with different backgrounds, identities, and experiences, and encourages anyone needing accommodation to request support from the recruiter.
