The Manager, Procurement & Operations will take ownership of sourcing, supplier, and contract manufacturer relationships, while supporting operational stability, new product initiatives, and cost improvement efforts across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing and supplier selection

  • Steer both strategic and day-to-day sourcing for contract manufacturers and suppliers, aligned with category and business priorities.
  • Assess and shortlist new suppliers and contract manufacturers that can improve cost, capability, capacity, and supply resilience.
  • Run RFQ/RFP exercises, perform cost comparisons, and evaluate total cost of ownership.
  • Support sourcing decisions for new product introductions, resourcing, dual sourcing, and supply-risk reduction projects.

Contract manufacturer and supplier management

  • Serve as the main point of contact and accountability for assigned suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Track and manage performance across pricing, quality, service levels, lead times, and capacity.
  • Handle commercial negotiations, review cost breakdowns, and pursue ongoing cost savings.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, maintain KPI scorecards, and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate production planning, capacity alignment, and issue resolution to keep supply stable.

Project, NPD, and qualification management

  • Lead supplier- and contract manufacturer-related projects, including new product launches, SKU transfers, and network optimization.
  • Own readiness activities for new product development, including BOM costing, tooling, trials, validation, and production ramp-up.
  • Partner with R&D, QA, Commercial, Planning, and Logistics teams to meet milestones and launch dates.
  • Identify risks early and drive mitigation actions.

Procurement and operations excellence

  • Support annual pricing exercises, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
  • Ensure suppliers and contract manufacturers follow company policies, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with audits, quality investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement programs that strengthen efficiency, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or procurement functions.
  • Strong practical experience managing contract manufacturers and suppliers is essential.
  • Background in RFQ/RFP processes, cost negotiation, and supplier selection.
  • Experience supporting new product development and qualification of new suppliers or contract manufacturers.
  • Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, OEM/ODM, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including across Southeast Asia, India, China, and other locations.
  • English is required; Mandarin proficiency is preferred.

Skills

The role calls for strong sourcing capability, commercial negotiation, supplier management, project coordination, cross-functional communication, and structured problem-solving. Familiarity with procurement and supply chain tools such as SAP, Oracle, and Power BI is also valuable.

Equal Opportunity

The employer is an equal opportunity organization and welcomes applicants from veterans and individuals with disabilities.
