Job description

Role Summary

Reformed Pilates is hiring a full-time, in-person Marketing Assistant to support brand campaigns, studio marketing, retail operations, and daily creative work from the Old Town Scottsdale headquarters. This position works closely with the Brand Manager and marketing team to keep projects moving, materials organized, and studio needs supported across all locations.

The right person for this role is both creative and highly operational—someone who is comfortable designing social graphics, maintaining trackers, handling inventory, coordinating events, and juggling several marketing priorities at once.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Content creation and social media: Produce graphics for social media, email marketing, studio promotions, and internal communications. Build and edit marketing assets in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, help plan and execute monthly content calendars, assist with TikTok research, filming, editing, and posting, manage Instagram Stories and engagement, coordinate user-generated content with instructors, members, influencers, and partners, and keep creative files organized.

Brand and studio marketing: Handle marketing requests from all studios, manage ordering and distribution of collateral and promotional items, support grassroots marketing efforts, partnerships, grand openings, and community events, help run promotional activations, and communicate with vendors while tracking timelines.

Google Business and online reputation: Maintain Google Business Profiles and Yelp listings for every studio, respond to reviews in a timely and brand-appropriate way, set up listings for new openings, update hours, holiday schedules, studio details, and photos, and monitor listing accuracy across locations.

Retail and inventory: Assist with retail buying, inventory tracking, and restocking, maintain signage and merchandising materials, coordinate product launches and retail distribution to studios, and support forecasting and reporting.

Milestone program support: Track milestone inventory, coordinate ordering and replenishment, assist with inventory reporting and forecasting, and make sure members receive milestone rewards correctly and on time.

Website and instructor support: Keep instructor headshots and digital assets up to date, coordinate biography changes and website content updates, and help ensure studio and instructor information stays current across platforms.

Administrative coordination: Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, and production timelines; support reporting, data entry, and campaign execution; and help the Brand Manager keep the department organized and running smoothly.

Required Qualifications

You should be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly in writing and speaking. This role calls for someone who can manage several deadlines and projects at the same time, work well in a fast-paced team setting, and take initiative when solving problems. Strong Canva skills are required, along with a solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social trends. You must also be able to work full-time on-site at the Old Town Scottsdale headquarters.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, is preferred. Prior work in marketing, social media, or creative roles is a plus, as is experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or retail. Photography, videography, content creation, website platform familiarity, and CMS experience are also helpful.

Success Measures

In the first 6 to 12 months, success in this role looks like marketing projects being completed accurately and on time, studio requests being handled efficiently, social content staying engaging and on-brand, Google Business and Yelp listings remaining correct and active, retail inventory and milestone workflows running smoothly, and files and assets staying neatly organized. Strong communication, structure, and follow-through should help the marketing team operate more effectively.

Wellness and Culture Expectations

Full-time team members are expected to stay connected to the brand experience by actively participating in the Reformed Pilates community. This includes attending at least 4 classes each month, representing the brand through a healthy and active lifestyle, joining meetings, trainings, studio events, and community initiatives as needed, and contributing to a positive, collaborative, service-focused culture.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing and walking for long periods, along with the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may also involve bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching overhead, helping with studio openings, merchandising, retail displays, community events, photoshoots, and marketing activations, setting up and breaking down equipment and signage, and working in an active studio environment with music, movement, and changing temperatures. Travel between studio locations and company events may also be required.

Compensation and Benefits

Benefits include competitive compensation, a complimentary Reformed Pilates membership, flexible PTO, medical, dental, vision, and other benefits depending on eligibility, professional development opportunities, and the chance to grow within a fast-expanding boutique fitness company.
