Job description

The Role

As a Marketing Manager at Balance, you will be responsible for translating marketing strategies into tangible execution across various initiatives including campaigns, content creation, and product storytelling. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing, Director of Product Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to manage daily marketing activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, generating sales pipeline, and promoting product adoption. This position is suited for individuals who excel in dynamic environments, enjoy the process of building and launching initiatives, and possess the skill to articulate complex product features into clear, engaging narratives that appeal to finance and operations professionals. You will significantly influence how our products are presented in the market through our website, marketing campaigns, product launches, industry events, public relations, and partner collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage high-quality marketing content, including landing pages, blog posts, and reports.
  • Create and oversee social media content to reinforce product positioning, build brand credibility, and drive awareness, with a focus on continuous performance testing and optimization.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to create and launch impactful campaign assets designed to generate sales pipeline.
  • Manage and enhance the company website as a primary growth channel, ensuring clarity, up-to-date information, and optimized conversion paths.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Demand Generation teams on new page launches, messaging A/B testing, and leveraging data and AI for performance and user experience improvements.
  • Plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle, including event promotions, nurturing sequences, and engagement optimization.
  • Lead the planning and end-to-end execution of field marketing initiatives, such as industry events, trade shows, and hosted events.
  • Work with the Sales team to maximize pipeline generation from events through pre-event outreach, onsite engagement, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop event-specific content and campaigns to boost attendance and engagement.
  • Track and report on the performance and return on investment (ROI) of all events.

Requirements

  • Possess 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a preference for experience in fintech, SaaS, or rapidly growing startup environments.
  • Demonstrate a strong execution-oriented approach, with the ability to rapidly move ideas from conception to completion.
  • Exhibit self-starting capabilities and a strong sense of ownership, enabling independent identification of opportunities, strategic direction setting, and execution.
  • Maintain high proficiency in utilizing AI tools for marketing tasks, including platforms like Claude Code, ChatGPT, and other generative AI technologies; this is a mandatory requirement.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with native-level English proficiency.
  • Have prior experience in managing or supporting field marketing and event programs, including trade shows, conferences, and hosted events.
