What You’ll Do

• Provide welcoming, dependable, and enthusiastic service that supports a great fresh-food shopping experience.
• Greet and help customers in line with Farm Boy service standards while sharing product knowledge.
• Prepare and portion meat for the service counter, keeping displays attractive and product quality high.
• Pack, stock, and rotate counter and shelf inventory so items remain fresh and well presented.
• Keep workspaces, storage areas, and service areas clean and orderly through routine housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Follow company policies and procedures, with strong attention to health and safety, food safety, HACCP requirements, and correct equipment use.
• Support the Meat Cutter development program by training and guiding team members in that pathway.
• Carry out opening and closing duties and assist other team members when needed.
• Help the leadership team with operational tasks such as inventory counts and ordering supplies.
• Take on other department-related duties as assigned from time to time.

What You Bring

• Strong interest in delivering outstanding, customer-focused service.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
• Ability to work on your own while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Comfort working in a busy environment without losing focus on service and quality.
• Readiness for a hands-on role with deadlines, long periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, protective gear, and frequent work in cold conditions.
• Availability for a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English fluency is required; French is an advantage.
