Job Overview

Join us as a Microsoft Cloud Engineer and contribute to #worknewways within our successful nationwide IT team. The role primarily involves supporting IT operations, focusing on Microsoft cloud environments, leading projects, and optimizing processes and costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide experienced support to first- and second-level IT support teams and independently manage IT projects to implement new solutions.
• Engage in a broad range of IT tasks beyond cloud-specific activities.
• Improve, modernize, or develop IT solutions aimed at process and cost optimization.
• Participate in IT on-call duty services.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience as a system administrator in predominantly Microsoft-based environments.
• Expertise in Microsoft cloud administration and cost/use optimization.
• Years of hands-on administration and user support experience in cloud backup, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Proficient with the CrowdStrike Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution.
• Solid knowledge of various network infrastructures including structured cabling, VLANs, WLAN basics, IP protocols, and network security.
• Familiarity with JumpCloud Identity and Access Management solution is a plus.
• Competent in managing Hyper-V and VMware environments and skilled in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience leading IT lifecycle projects independently.
• Strong willingness to engage with IT requirements specific to the hotel industry.
• Fluent German language skills.
• Willingness to travel and possession of a valid driver's license.
