Role Overview

STRICTmobile is looking for an experienced mobile web developer who enjoys working in a startup-style environment, values collaboration, and is excited by the challenge of building mobile commerce products. Key Responsibilities

• Plan the technical approach and build new features, while also improving and maintaining existing functionality in the mobile commerce web application.
• Customize the web application to meet specific customer needs.
• Connect the web application with e-commerce platforms through web service APIs.
• Contribute fresh ideas and explore new approaches to help further grow the product’s market position.
• Take responsibility for guiding and leading a team of motivated developers.

Candidate Profile

• You should have a strong interest in mobile technologies.
• A degree in computer science, a related field, or an equivalent qualification is expected.
• You need solid foundational knowledge of web development, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, and JSON.
• Extensive hands-on experience with JavaScript and frameworks such as jQuery is required.
• Server-side development knowledge is beneficial, especially with Demandware or Intershop.
• Experience working with web services is needed.
• Comfortable use of development tools such as Subversion and JIRA is expected.
• Experience with agile development methods is important.
• You should be highly motivated, able to work independently, and a strong team player.
• Previous experience in e-commerce is required.
