Job description
Role Overview
Join the Whangārei delivery team in a permanent motorcycle courier role, where you'll help move mail and parcels across the community and keep customers connected.
Working Pattern
- This position follows a 5-day rotating schedule.
- Rostered hours are 07:00 to 14:32.
- Week 1 runs Monday to Friday.
- Week 2 runs Tuesday to Saturday.
Pay and Transport
- Hourly pay is $27.86, effective from 1 July 2026.
- The role uses an E-Bike and a motorcycle.
- A motorcycle licence is required.
What the Job Involves
You will represent NZ Post in the community, interacting with customers while delivering mail and parcels. Your day begins at the Whangārei Operations Centre, where you'll sort and process items with the team before heading out on your own route to complete deliveries in all weather conditions.

Requirements and Checks

- Strong literacy and numeracy skills are needed for sorting address details accurately.
- You need to support safety for yourself and your team.
- A customer-focused approach and willingness to go the extra mile are essential.

- Employment depends on a successful drug test and security check.
