Job description
Role Overview
The Crossing at Big Creek is hiring a part-time maintenance professional for a hands-on, multi-craft role in Cottonwood, Alabama. The ideal candidate is self-directed, dependable, and comfortable functioning with limited oversight while also collaborating well with the broader team.
Key Duties
This position covers a wide range of property maintenance tasks and requires practical experience in several trades, including electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair. Experience with HVAC systems is an advantage. The role also calls for strong leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative on day-to-day maintenance needs.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must have their own hand tools and be able to remain on their feet for more than 8 hours at a time. The job also involves climbing ladders and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs.
Schedule
The work schedule includes rotating weekends, with 4-hour shifts and the possibility of working every fourth weekend.
Requirements

- Willingness to complete a drug screening within 90 days of starting
- Ability to clear a background check
