Role and Responsibilities

As a Music Teacher at Orchids International School, you will be instrumental in shaping students' musical journey. Your core responsibilities will include imparting knowledge of music theory, vocal techniques, and instrumental proficiency. You will cultivate students' creativity and passion for music, preparing them for various performances, competitions, and cultural events, thereby contributing to their overall development. This involves teaching diverse musical genres, guiding school ensembles, and ensuring a positive learning atmosphere. You will also manage musical resources and stay abreast of evolving teaching methodologies and music trends.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in music education and a passion for teaching. You will be adept at instructing students in music theory, singing, and various instruments. Training students in classical, western, folk, and contemporary music styles will be a key aspect of the role. You will also be responsible for preparing students for school events, cultural programs, and competitions, while closely monitoring their progress and providing guidance for improvement. Organizing and leading school choirs, bands, and music groups will be part of your duties. Creating an enjoyable and stimulating learning environment is essential. Collaboration with other educators to integrate music into broader school activities is expected. Maintaining musical instruments and related resources is also required. Continuous learning of new teaching methods and music trends is encouraged. You will foster teamwork, discipline, and self-assurance through group performances.
