Recorded Future is the world's leading and largest intelligence company, employing over 1,000 intelligence experts who support more than 1,900 clients worldwide. The Insikt Group within Recorded Future provides intelligence across cyber, geopolitical, and physical threat sectors, primarily aiding government and public sector missions globally. The Network Intelligence team specializes in analyzing broad internet telemetry, network traffic, and adversarial infrastructures to track malicious activities that threaten national security, critical infrastructure, and public organizations.

We are currently seeking candidates to join our talent network with prospective openings for Network Intelligence Analyst roles focusing on identifying and assessing threat-related network data to support governmental and allied public sector entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale network telemetry data such as NetFlow and similar flow-based datasets to detect malicious infrastructure, command and control operations, scanning activities, and adversary operational tactics.
  • Investigate and monitor threat actor networks across IP ranges, autonomous system numbers, hosting services, and geographical zones relevant to national security and government clients.
  • Generate comprehensive intelligence reports and assessments responding to targeted requests and priority requirements from government clientele.
  • Lead extended research initiatives within the Insikt team, including publications designed for government audiences and the wider intelligence community.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow analysts, product specialists, and quality reviewers to maintain rigorous analysis standards and adherence to intelligence tradecraft.
  • Apply structured analytical methods to evaluate adversaries' intents, capabilities, and the potential impact of their network behavior on vital public missions and infrastructure.
  • Serve as a domain expert for network intelligence in internal reviews and high-level briefings.
  • Represent Recorded Future externally by presenting critical intelligence findings to government agencies, partners, and intelligence community groups.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years’ experience working as an intelligence analyst, cyber analyst, or in a network analytic capacity.
  • Expertise in analyzing network telemetry at scale, including but not limited to NetFlow or equivalent flow-based network data.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IP networking, routing, autonomous systems, and the architecture of internet infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to produce articulate and well-sourced intelligence assessments suitable for decision-making audiences.
  • Experience with intelligence lifecycle processes, structured analytical techniques, and professional analytic writing approaches.
  • Proficiency in utilizing open source intelligence tools and databases pertinent to network and infrastructure research.
  • Ability to effectively work within a globally distributed, mission-driven research team environment.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience supporting clients in government, defense, law enforcement, or international intelligence sectors.
  • Knowledge of threats targeting critical infrastructure sectors such as energy, telecommunications, transportation, and government services.
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security.
  • Experience in briefing governmental stakeholders or contributing to interagency intelligence documentation.
  • Familiarity with nation-state cyber operations and advanced persistent threats.
  • Holding an active Top Secret clearance is advantageous.
