Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. The Ocean Import Agent will manage ocean import movements from the point of origin through to final delivery, making sure documentation and customs processes are completed correctly and on time. The position requires close coordination with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal colleagues to keep shipments moving smoothly and maintain strong service quality.

Key responsibilities

The role covers end-to-end coordination of ocean import shipments, including checking booking confirmations, preparing and reviewing transport paperwork, tracking shipment progress, and keeping internal systems up to date. It also involves resolving operational issues, sharing shipment status updates, validating rates and tariffs, handling billing-related tasks, and following company procedures as well as applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and experience
