This is an island-wide role that involves active customer and account engagement, with responsibility for a significant share of the business through wholesale partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement the off-trade channel strategy for the full brand portfolio, including Campari, Magnum, White Room, Sky, and others.
- Plan and run below-the-line promotions while ensuring point-of-sale materials are positioned effectively.
- Own relationships with important accounts, track return on investment, and improve advertising and promotion spend efficiency.
- Carry out store and account visits, along with competitor research and market observation.
- Work closely with brand and commercial teams to align channel activity with broader business goals.
- Manage outside agencies and vendors, including merchandising support teams, display suppliers, gondola providers, and printing partners for POP/POSM materials.
- Oversee contract handling and procure-to-pay processes related to all off-trade activity.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for a commercially minded professional with a strong background in trade marketing, sales, or marketing. Experience in the off-trade channel is preferred, and exposure to the spirits or beverage industry is a strong advantage. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, adaptable, and confident working across several projects and stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or marketing; off-trade channel experience is preferred.
- Prior work in the spirits or beverage sector is highly desirable.
- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong skills in project management, communication, and data analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capability, especially Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar business tools is an advantage.
- Must have access to and be able to use a dependable motor vehicle.
