Operations Lead

Role Overview

Ariston Services is seeking an Operations Lead to oversee a team of operations engineers in Singapore. This role is designed for someone who has led technical teams in a local Singapore environment and understands the expectations of Singapore-based customers in a systems integration setup. The position is not intended as a purely L3/L4 observability role; instead, the focus is on team leadership across a broader operations environment, with subject-matter experts available to support specific technologies.

Core Focus

The successful candidate will lead operations engineers working across multiple technical areas, extending beyond Elastic and the observability domain. While prior exposure to observability tooling is beneficial, deep mastery of every platform is not required, as specialist support will be available within each technology stack.

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on knowledge of RHEL administration.
• Experience managing monitoring and observability platforms or infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and managing observability tools, ideally Elastic.
• At least 2 years of experience leading an operations engineering team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior team lead experience in Singapore is strongly preferred because working practices and customer expectations can differ from offshore delivery environments.
• Experience working with or administering Elastic infrastructure is an advantage.
• Exposure to Nutanix in an operations context is preferred.
• Training or product certification in an observability technology, especially Elastic, is desirable.

Additional Notes

The role calls for a leader who can manage operational delivery effectively while coordinating with technical specialists across the stack. Experience serving Singapore clients in a systems integration setting will be especially valuable.
