Role overview

An expanding organisation in Athenry, County Galway is hiring a permanent Project Manager to support operations. This role focuses on driving and coordinating operational, digital, and business projects across a global business.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and deliver assigned projects through to completion.
  • Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and key milestones.
  • Work with teams across functions, regions, and time zones to keep delivery on track.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the EPMO and operational stakeholders.
  • Keep project plans, records, reports, and KPI tracking up to date.
  • Create and refine project templates, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Support clear communication and teamwork across departments.
  • Collect, interpret, and present project data to inform decisions.
  • Help ensure all work follows company policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
  • Build expertise in the organisation’s project management tools and systems.

Experience and qualifications

Candidates should bring at least 5 years of project management experience, with a track record of delivering projects in technology, marketing, sales, and operations. Hands-on experience with both Agile and Waterfall methods is required, along with strong capability in project management software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills are essential.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area is preferred, and PMP/PMI certification or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
