About the Role
BTSE is expanding its institutional OTC sales function to support professional and high-volume crypto clients. In this role, you will be the initial contact for new OTC opportunities, help assess demand, and assist the Institutional Sales team during the early stages of the sales process. The position is a strong fit for someone seeking practical exposure to institutional crypto trading and a path toward more advanced sales responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to and engage potential OTC clients in designated regions and through relevant channels.
- Run first-round discovery conversations to learn about client profiles, trading requirements, and settlement preferences.
- Build organized client summaries and help prepare accounts for onboarding.
- Support coordination of handoffs and assist the Institutional Sales team during early client interactions.
- Keep CRM and internal records accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to move prospects smoothly from lead stage to active client status.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales development, fintech, payments, or crypto.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with sound commercial judgment.
- Confidence in speaking with professional and institutional-level clients.
- A careful, structured, and dependable approach to work.
- Strong motivation, curiosity, and interest in growing within the institutional crypto market.
