About the role

Grove Point Marinas is looking for an experienced paralegal to help support its legal and business functions. The right candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing several priorities in a fast-moving work environment.

The company focuses on buying, upgrading, and managing premium marine properties while pairing disciplined investment strategy with hands-on operational execution. As the platform continues to grow rapidly, the team is expanding to support that momentum.

Role overview

This position partners closely with legal counsel, company leadership, and outside stakeholders on a range of legal matters. Candidates with a background in real estate and/or private equity transactions are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with legal research, drafting support, document handling, and matter tracking.
  • Prepare, review, and organize contracts, agreements, corporate records, and legal communications.
  • Assist with real estate deal work such as due diligence, title review, closing coordination, and related documentation.
  • Contribute to private equity transaction support, corporate governance work, entity setup, and compliance tasks.
  • Maintain legal files, regulatory submissions, and corporate documentation systems.
  • Liaise with external counsel, lenders, investors, and other business partners as needed.
  • Monitor deadlines and help ensure legal and regulatory obligations are completed on time.
  • Protect confidential information and handle sensitive business and legal matters with discretion.
  • Take on special assignments and other legal projects as required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience is needed.
  • Solid knowledge of legal paperwork, contract administration, and corporate records management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication ability.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and legal document management tools.
  • Prior experience in a law firm, private equity setting, real estate business, or corporate legal team is preferred.
