About the Role

Mercer Marsh Benefits is hiring a Placement Manager for its Singapore office. This position sits within a team focused on helping clients improve health, wealth, and career outcomes by supporting insurance placement work, market analysis, and client service.

What You Will Do

  • Support senior placement team members by analyzing client insurance programs and helping improve service delivery.
  • Build a solid understanding of insurance markets to better support client needs.
  • Prepare parts of proposals that help win new business and additional opportunities.
  • Manage insurer relationships and track key performance indicators to help ensure delivery standards are met.
  • Assist senior colleagues in negotiations with insurance carriers by gathering and comparing submissions, under close guidance.
  • Carry out remarketing exercises and help recommend the most suitable solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at increasing revenue, improving efficiency, and strengthening work processes.

What You Need

  • Strong interest in employee benefits and related advisory work.
  • Must have cleared all 6 papers required for licensing before applying for the role.
  • MAS qualification is mandatory for this position.
  • Good analytical reasoning and problem-solving capability.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, handle several tasks at once, and meet tight deadlines while working with a team.
  • Comfort with data cleaning, analysis, and maintaining accurate records.
