Plastic Surgery Consultant

Role Overview

An established healthcare provider in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is looking for an experienced Plastic Surgery Consultant to deliver high-level aesthetic, reconstructive, and plastic surgery care. The role calls for strong clinical judgment, excellent patient care, and a commitment to safety and quality in every stage of treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and guide treatment for patients needing aesthetic, reconstructive, or other plastic surgery care.
• Carry out a broad mix of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
• Create tailored treatment plans and counsel patients on available options, associated risks, and likely results.
• Oversee patient management before surgery, during procedures, and throughout recovery.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to improve patient outcomes.
• Keep detailed clinical records and follow hospital standards for quality and safety.
• Take part in team meetings, clinical review activities, and ongoing medical education.
• Support the expansion and advancement of plastic surgery services in the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD, or an equivalent qualification.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Plastic Surgery.
• Specialist certification or equivalent recognition from Western Board, Arab Board, Saudi Board, European Board, or a comparable body in Plastic Surgery.
• Active SCFHS consultant classification and registration are mandatory.
• Three to five years of post-consultancy experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated skill in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
• Consistent surgical results with a patient-focused approach.

• Breast surgery, including augmentation, reduction, and reconstruction
• Body contouring procedures
• Liposuction and fat transfer
• Post-bariatric body contouring
• Reconstructive plastic surgery
• Scar revision and complex wound reconstruction

Essential Requirements

• Fluency in Arabic is required.
• SCFHS consultant classification is compulsory.
• Candidates must be available for full-time work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are needed.
• Dedication to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction is expected.
