Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the efforts of the presale team throughout the entire presale lifecycle.
  • Spearhead the creation of presale documentation, including proposals, presentations, and financial models, managing both hands-on tasks and team delegation.
  • Facilitate internal meetings for opportunity qualification, sales strategy alignment, and proposal reviews.
  • Lead proposal presentation meetings and serve as the primary presenter.
  • Mediate potentially conflicting interests between internal stakeholders, primarily Sales and Delivery, to ensure competitive proposals without compromising on realistic commitments.
  • Contribute to the transformation initiatives of the Presale Function, including the development of templates and best practices.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of commercial software development experience in enterprise-level systems, specifically in a Project Manager or Delivery Manager capacity.
  • Proven experience in coordinating presales activities, from initial client introductions through proposal presentations and addressing delivery-related concerns.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate estimation sessions and translate effort estimates into concrete delivery plans and roadmaps.
  • A solid understanding of presales nuances, including time constraints and ambiguity.
  • Experience with both informal, highly interactive presales engagements and formal RFP responses.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the USA and/or Europe.
  • Proficiency in presenting proposals and leading client calls with VP- and CxO-level executives.
  • Capability to effectively coordinate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and rapidly foster a highly productive team environment.
  • Hands-on experience with document and presentation development tools (e.g., MS Word/Google Docs, MS PowerPoint/Google Slides), with the ability to create well-structured, compelling presentations and documents independently, even without immediate designer/copywriter support.
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of software delivery, including revenue, margin, and costs.
  • Familiarity with common delivery models such as project-based vs. talent-based, Time-and-Materials, and Fixed Price.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.

  • Experience utilizing AI tools within the presales process.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops.
