Role Overview
The Primary Wing Coordinator will be responsible for leading academic and co-curricular activities for primary-level students. This position involves supporting teachers with planning and delivery of lessons, tracking student performance, and helping maintain high academic standards. The coordinator will also play a key role in arranging school activities, introducing effective and engaging teaching approaches, and building a positive, inclusive atmosphere for young learners.
Key Areas of Work
- Guide the primary wing in day-to-day academic and co-curricular functioning.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, classroom execution, and teaching strategies.
- Observe student academic and behavioural development and take action where needed.
- Plan and coordinate school events and activities for primary students.
- Encourage innovative and child-friendly teaching methods.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student growth.
- Help maintain an inclusive, encouraging, and disciplined learning environment.
Qualifications and Fit
The school is looking for someone with strong leadership, people management, and planning abilities, along with a solid grasp of curriculum design and lesson development. Clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle disagreements constructively are important. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of reviewing academic and behavioural progress, and experienced in school coordination or similar educational support roles, especially in primary education. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related discipline is required, along with a genuine interest in mentoring both students and teachers.
