Procurement Officer

Role Overview

This full-time procurement role is based in Dubai, UAE, with a client recognized as a dependable metal fabrication company in the region. The position focuses on purchasing support for façade and aluminum operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle sourcing and buying of aluminium profiles, façade components, glass fittings, hardware, sealants, and other fabrication consumables.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, raise purchase orders, and track deliveries to keep materials arriving on time.
• Work in close coordination with engineering, production, warehouse, and project teams so fabrication and installation timelines stay aligned.
• Keep an eye on vendor performance, stock availability, and purchasing spend, while maintaining complete procurement records and reports.

Candidate Profile

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline is required.
• Applicants must bring at least 4 years of procurement experience.
• Direct background in the aluminium and façade sector is mandatory, including work with aluminium systems, façade contracting, or aluminium fabrication.
• Strong familiarity with aluminium profiles, façade systems, accessories, hardware, sealants, glass fittings, and fabrication inputs is essential.
• Experience dealing with aluminium system suppliers, subcontractors, and fabrication vendors for sourcing and coordination is needed.
