Production Planner

Role overview

This is a permanent Production Planner position with a food manufacturing company in Singapore, based in the Pioneer area. The role is a five-day workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:30pm, and the compensation package includes basic salary, annual wage supplement (AWS), and a performance bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production plans using customer orders, demand forecasts, and stock availability as the basis.
• Coordinate with production teams to keep operations running smoothly and ensure output is completed on time.
• Follow production progress closely and revise schedules whenever changes are required.
• Keep raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods at healthy inventory levels.
• Work with R&D to make sure production materials are replenished without delay.
• Manage warehouse activities such as goods receiving, storage, and outbound dispatch.
• Track the movement of stock between the warehouse and production areas.
• Look for ways to improve planning processes and warehouse productivity.
• Handle other assigned tasks, including ad hoc duties and special projects.

Requirements

• A diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, ideally with production scheduling software.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
