Job description
Role overview
This is a long-term production role with a well-established global engineering business. The position is based in Narangba and involves hands-on work in a galvanising workshop supporting industrial steel processing.
Pay and roster
- Hourly rate of $37.38, plus applicable penalties and an afternoon shift allowance
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Afternoon shift: 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
- Immediate commencement available

Key duties
- Use a forklift safely to transport steel materials around the galvanising yard
- Carry out repetitive tasks on the production line
- Prepare and jig steel components for galvanising
- Remove imperfections from steel using grinders and files
- Work in close proximity to mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery
What you need
- Current driver licence and dependable transport
- Valid forklift licence with practical operating experience
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Good attention to detail
- Comfort working efficiently in a busy warehouse setting
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
- Previous experience in manufacturing, factory work, or steel-related environments
