Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is being shared for a partner employer that will handle the application review and all subsequent hiring steps. The company is seeking a Project and Resource Manager located in Saudi Arabia.
You will operate in a fast-moving, international research operations setting where strong coordination directly supports the delivery of high-quality insights at scale. The role focuses on assigning research capacity across several simultaneous projects, making sure the right specialists are matched to the right work at the right time. You will act as a central link between Account Management, Customer Success, and Research teams, turning incoming requests into clear and executable workflows. Success in this role depends on sharp prioritisation, solid operational judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities in real time. In addition to daily planning, you will help improve processes, cut down manual work, and support automation efforts. Your contribution will influence turnaround speed, team productivity, and client satisfaction in a highly dynamic global environment.
Key accountabilities
- Review new project requests, validate the brief, and make sure the intake information is properly structured together with commercial and research stakeholders.
- Assign and balance research talent according to availability, workload, urgency, and assignment complexity across multiple live projects.
- Keep a current view of team capacity so work is distributed fairly and bottlenecks are avoided.
- Rank incoming tasks and set the sequence of work using agreed operational criteria, while giving stakeholders clear and realistic delivery expectations.
- Spot gaps and inefficiencies in project flow and help strengthen handover steps and broader operating processes.
- Assist with rolling out and refining automation solutions such as workflow tools, AI-based systems, and integration platforms to reduce manual coordination effort.
- Work closely with research leadership to improve operating efficiency and scale delivery more effectively.
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in project coordination, operations, or resource planning, preferably in market research or another fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to handle a large number of concurrent requests while staying organised, accurate, and detail-focused under pressure.
- Strong prioritisation and judgement skills, with the ability to weigh urgency, complexity, and business value.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to align and influence stakeholders across different teams and seniority levels.
- Comfort with making capacity-driven decisions and explaining trade-offs in a straightforward way when required.
- Ability to thrive in changing environments where priorities shift often and adaptability matters.
- A structured, hands-on, process-driven mindset with a strong interest in improving operations.
- English proficiency is mandatory; German language skills are considered an advantage.
Benefits and perks
- Flexible holiday policy with no fixed limit on the number of days you can take.
- Ability to work from abroad for up to 180 days per year, if you are based in the EU.
- All required work equipment is provided, including a MacBook.
- Mobility support such as a Deutschland ticket or a mobility budget, depending on location.
- Subsidised fitness and wellness memberships, such as Urban Sports Club or ClassPass, depending on location.
- Access to co-working spaces in selected global hub cities.
- Fully remote setup with international team collaboration and flexibility.
