Role Summary
The Project Manager for Financial Systems will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects related to financial platforms and processes. This position combines project leadership with an understanding of finance systems, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement. The role is based in Kingston with a hybrid arrangement that allows some remote work.
What You Will Do
- Plan and manage the full lifecycle of financial systems projects from start to finish.
- Track project schedules, budgets, resources, and progress against key milestones.
- Coordinate communication and alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
- Review financial systems and support decisions around system and process improvements.
- Help define and execute program strategies that support business objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to keep projects moving toward completion.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and strengthen delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of financial systems and core finance operations.
- Strong analytical thinking for problem-solving and sound decision-making.
- Background in program or project management with oversight responsibilities.
- Understanding of accounting practices and common accounting frameworks.
- Well-developed organizational skills and clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage several priorities and keep multiple projects on track.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
- Exposure to digital transformation in financial services is considered an advantage.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid work setup in Kingston, Jamaica.
