Job description
About the Role
This is a high-impact contract role driving execution across a large-scale inter-datacenter network capacity delivery program. You will be embedded within a global infrastructure organization, working at the intersection of network planning, supply chain, and datacenter engineering to improve on-time port and bandwidth delivery, reduce lead times, and surface defects early. This is not a project management role in name only. You will own real program tracking, escalate blockers to senior leadership, and coordinate across multiple cross-functional teams to keep complex delivery workstreams on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily tracking of inter-datacenter capacity delivery initiatives, including new datacenter constructions and bandwidth scaling between existing sites.
- Facilitate daily coordination with Network Planning, Global Network Delivery, Supply Chain, Metro Fiber, Datacenter Engineering, and Infrastructure Software teams.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators for project planning accuracy, dependency management, hardware delivery schedules, site readiness, cabling integrity, and overall lead times.
- Identify and escalate delivery issues and impediments, coordinating root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are implemented by responsible teams.
- Develop and maintain accurate program status reports and dashboards for stakeholders across Network Planning, Infrastructure, Supply Chain, and Datacenter Engineering.
- Collaborate with planning automation and supply chain teams to identify forecast discrepancies and resolve data quality problems.
- Coordinate with other Technical Program Managers to synchronize priorities, monitor inter-program dependencies, and ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Lead structured weekly and bi-weekly review meetings with cross-functional partners, ensuring action items are closed and escalating risks to senior leadership with clear justifications.
- Document and refine delivery processes, identifying opportunities for automation or standardization of manual tasks.
What We Are Looking For
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in technical program management, preferably within infrastructure, network, or hardware delivery programs.
- Demonstrate a strong proficiency in program tracking tools and metrics, with experience in creating and managing dashboards, trackers, and reporting mechanisms.
- Exhibit a proven ability to manage cross-functional dependencies and foster alignment among teams without direct authority.
- Showcase a demonstrated capability in identifying bottlenecks and categorizing issues effectively.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, adept at summarizing complex delivery statuses for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain a detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to follow-through.
- Be comfortable operating at a fast pace within a large-scale, globally distributed environment.
