Role overview

As a Project Manager in the Platforms Services & Delivery team, you will be accountable for delivering projects on schedule and ensuring the final outcome matches customer expectations and company commitments. The role is central to customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead projects end to end with a focus on customer satisfaction, timeline adherence, quality standards, and profitability.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer-facing project interactions.
  • Deliver solutions that are practical, cost-effective, simple to operate, and valuable for the customer.
  • Track progress, secure the required resources, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Oversee project budgets, including cost and revenue management.
  • Identify project risks and manage action plans to reduce them.
  • Handle change requests and look for new business opportunities.
  • Maintain active communication with stakeholders such as the Solution Manager, Project Delivery team, Technical Leaders, and Support & Maintenance team.
  • Own the project change-management process, including bug review meetings and priority setting based on customer needs.
  • Validate the Project Execution baseline with SEM support before submission to the Supervisory Authority at Launch Review, and keep it updated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct the Project Kick-off meeting and all Project Reviews required under the Manage Project Process.
  • Secure customer acceptance of the delivered solution.
  • Run the Closure Review and capture project Lessons Learned.
  • Prepare and maintain a chronological project log to support future claims if needed.
  • Provide senior management with dashboard reporting covering project progress, completed work, and forecasts through to project completion.

Experience and qualifications

The role requires at least 5 years of project management experience in specification, design, and team coordination within the software development or service operations industry. A PMI/PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is mandatory. Candidates must hold an Engineering degree or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Skills and capabilities

Strong command of English and Arabic is required, with Arabic being mandatory. The role also calls for the ability to quickly understand product and service use cases, ecosystems, and delivery models; independently manage scope and requirements; build and monitor project plans; control customer relationships and project costs; and use Microsoft Project effectively. Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with problem-solving ability, teamwork, integrity, adaptability in fast-paced settings, initiative, and the ability to inspire and delegate.
