Saudi Biotechnology Manufacturing Company (SAUDIBIO) is a Saudi joint stock company founded in 2010. It is a major biopharmaceutical manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, with a multipurpose sterile fill-and-finish facility for biopharmaceutical products and a strong position in insulin manufacturing.
Role Overview
The Project Planner will be based in Sudair Industrial City, Saudi Arabia, and will work from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and continuously refine integrated master schedules and detailed timelines covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and readiness for operations.
- Work with engineering, CQV, manufacturing, quality, and vendors to establish sequencing, milestone dates, and the critical path.
- Monitor project progress, revise forecasts, and analyze schedule performance and critical-path movement.
- Spot timing risks, delays, and the impact of changes, and support recovery actions and change-control efforts.
- Partner with project managers, construction, engineering, and CQV teams to keep schedules aligned with scope, resources, and execution plans.
- Support procurement tracking, lead schedule review discussions, and maintain consistent progress reporting.
- Prepare leadership dashboards, milestone updates, and progress metrics for governance and review meetings.
- Carry out schedule risk reviews, scenario analysis, look-ahead planning, and recovery planning.
- Build and standardize scheduling templates, methods, and procedures across project teams.
- Strengthen planning processes and digital scheduling tools while encouraging discipline and best practices in schedule management.
Qualifications and Experience
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in project scheduling within capital projects, construction, or manufacturing settings, preferably in life sciences.
- Practical experience in creating, managing, and updating integrated project schedules.
- Exposure to full project lifecycles, including design, construction, commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness.
- Experience in regulated environments such as biopharma, life sciences, or cleanroom facility projects is preferred.
Working Schedule
This role follows a Sunday-to-Thursday workweek, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
