About Trustmark

Trustmark is driven by a purpose to improve wellbeing for all. That goal is tied to a culture of care, equality, trust, and inclusion, where people are encouraged to feel respected, valued, and heard. The organization aims to create a workplace where associates can show up authentically and contribute in an environment that supports diversity, mutual respect, and shared success.

About the Role

Trustmark is hiring a Proposal Assistant II to support the preparation and coordination of proposal materials so submissions are completed accurately and on time.

What You Will Do

  • Support the preparation of standard Voluntary Worksite and group proposals and rates for assigned territories.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of VB products as part of the role.
  • Receive requests, create case files, verify information for accuracy, and prepare reports for underwriting review.
  • Collect proposal-rate documents and any supporting items such as templates, then forward them to the sales representative before deadlines.
  • Track submission activity and work closely with team members to keep deliverables moving on schedule.
  • Review existing processes, procedures, and forms to spot opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

The role calls for a High School Diploma or GED and 0 to 2 years of related experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position, based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois, is $22.00 to $31.79 per hour. The final offer will depend on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant considerations. This role may also qualify for a bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; life insurance; FSA and HSA options; a 401(k) plan; an Employee Assistance Program; backup care for children, adults, and elders; and various health and wellness programs. A wellness program is also available to help employees participate in activities that may reduce insurance premiums.
