Job description
Role overview
This role is for seasoned cybersecurity professionals who want to help improve advanced AI systems while working remotely on a schedule they control. The work centers on testing and refining AI outputs so they are accurate, practical, and grounded in real security experience.
You will collaborate with modern AI models on assignments such as reviewing AI-produced security material, tackling technical security challenges, and sharing feedback that influences how future systems understand threats and defenses. Some people take this on alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main work.
To begin, you will create an account and complete a short assessment that functions like an interview. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid work will be unlocked on the platform.
Responsibilities
- Check AI-created cybersecurity content for practical accuracy, including threat analysis, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security methods.
- Build and solve technical security tasks that help train AI models.
- Produce clear written explanations and code relevant to security work.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI systems for security use cases.
Compensation and work style
Projects are paid hourly, with rates starting at $50-$100+ per hour and bonus rates available on some assignments. You choose which projects to take on and decide when to work. The role is fully remote and can be done from your own computer at home.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical cybersecurity experience, such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government or military cyber work.
- Comfort with coding and the ability to navigate and modify an existing codebase.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, with excellent written communication.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Industry certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
Additional details
This is an independent contractor engagement. Payment is made through PayPal, and you will never be asked to send money. The opportunity is open only to applicants located in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
Eligibility
Experienced cybersecurity professionals based in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand may apply. The position suits people who can work independently and communicate technical findings clearly in English.
About the work
The assignment focuses on supporting AI development in the cybersecurity domain by applying real-world expertise to validate outputs and strengthen model performance. The work is flexible, remote, and designed for people with hands-on security backgrounds.
