QA QC Engineer

Role Overview

Sumadhura Infracon Private Limited is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for its Bengaluru operations in the construction sector. The role centers on ensuring that building materials and related construction outputs meet the required quality benchmarks and specification standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks and testing for construction materials such as concrete, steel, and other relevant inputs used on site.
• Execute cube testing to verify that samples meet the expected industry and project specifications.
• Spot inconsistencies, defects, or irregularities in material samples and advise rejection where the results do not meet standards.
• Work closely with the production team to support corrective measures that help improve overall product quality.

Job Requirements

• Applicants should have 1 to 4 years of experience in QA/QC engineering or a similar discipline.
• A solid understanding of material testing techniques is required, including methods used for concrete assessment such as compressive strength testing.
• Knowledge of cube testing procedures in line with ASTM C39/C786 standards is expected.
• Candidates must be familiar with construction-site safety practices and the regulations that apply to the industry.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to candidates with a B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
