QC Inspector 2

Role Summary

The QC Inspector 2 will be responsible for carrying out planned quality control and inspection tasks for workshop job orders, along with preparing the related QC documentation. This role also includes conducting scheduled in-house calibration of measuring and testing equipment.

Key Duties

• Work closely with workshop foremen to conduct required inspections and quality checks on job orders, and produce stage-wise inspection records.
• Observe pressure testing activities performed by production supervisors for workshop assignments.
• Complete final inspection and authorize release of workshop job orders only after confirming that all QC steps have been finished according to the documentation and final inspection checklist.
• Carry out internal calibration of linear measuring tools and in-house pressure gauges.
• Ensure calibration records remain up to date and maintain physical calibration status tags on instruments.
• Inform the QC Manager about measuring or testing equipment that must be calibrated externally and ensure these items stay within the planned calibration schedule.
• Issue non-conformance reports for any items that do not meet requirements at each inspection stage, and coordinate with the QC Manager until closure.
• Support all activities needed to meet the quality targets established for the QA/QC department.
• Prepare QC documentation and reports for completed job orders.
• Maintain the current calibration status for internal measuring and testing instruments.

Education and Experience

Candidates should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or a diploma in a relevant field and bring 2 to 3 years of experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
