Job description

Role overview

This part-time Quality Control Engineer opportunity is based in Dubai and follows a hybrid setup, so you will split time between working remotely and being onsite. The position focuses on checking products, processes, and services against established quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.

What you will do

You will build and carry out quality control plans, inspect and measure outputs, record findings accurately, and investigate the causes behind quality issues. The role also calls for close coordination with cross-functional teams to put corrective and preventive measures in place, improve quality systems, and keep detailed quality documentation up to date.

You will contribute to ongoing improvement efforts and communicate quality results clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

The role requires a solid grounding in quality control and quality assurance practices, along with hands-on experience using industry standards and accepted methods. Strong analytical ability is important for interpreting data, carrying out root cause analysis, and supporting process improvement.

You should understand quality management fundamentals such as process documentation, compliance, and audit preparation. Clear communication is essential for working with both technical and non-technical teams and for presenting quality findings effectively.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline is preferred, although equivalent practical experience is also acceptable. Familiarity with tools and methodologies such as SPC, PDCA, and ISO standards will be an advantage. You should also be comfortable using office and data analysis software for reporting and documentation, and be able to work independently in a hybrid arrangement while coordinating with onsite teams in Dubai.
