Job description
About the Company
BMS Performance is a leading recruitment consultancy with a focus on sales and engineering hiring across multiple industries. The business is known for an experienced team, a positive working environment, and leaders who actively support employee growth and development. The company is expanding and seeking a senior consultant to join its team.
Role Overview
This is a senior recruitment role with a strong commercial element. The position comes with support from a dedicated business development function that generates serious client opportunities and provides clear job briefs, so the focus stays on candidate engagement, role matching, and end-to-end recruitment delivery. You will also take ownership of an existing portfolio of important accounts on a full 360 basis, giving you a solid base to develop your desk from the outset. The role is busy, target-led, and well suited to someone who enjoys the sales side of recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Work recruitment assignments from brief through to placement, managing the process with both clients and candidates.
- Use supplied job specifications to identify and secure the best talent for each role.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts on a 360 recruitment basis.
- Operate in a fast-moving, target-focused environment where commercial results matter.
- Build strong relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of service.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture and take responsibility for your own desk performance.
Candidate Profile
The employer is looking for someone with recruitment or sales experience who is commercially aware, self-driven, and comfortable working independently. You should be motivated by targets, willing to put in the effort needed to succeed, and confident taking ownership without close supervision. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are important, along with a genuine interest in placing the right person into the right job. Backgrounds in sales recruitment or engineering recruitment are helpful, though not mandatory for the right applicant.
Package and Benefits
- Uncapped commission plan.
- On-target earnings of €60,000 to €80,000+ for high performers.
- Flexible working hours, with options such as 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- Hybrid working available after the initial training period.
- Pension contribution.
- 25 days of annual leave.
Working Arrangements
The role is based in South Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with an onsite start and hybrid working available after training. Flexitime is available within the stated schedule options.
Additional Information
This opportunity is with a well-established consultancy that offers a supportive structure, an established client base, and strong earning potential for people who want to perform at a high level. Interested candidates are invited to discuss the role confidentially.
