Role overview

The Research Assistant will support ongoing research work by finding,整理izing, and examining information gathered from a variety of credible references. The role is focused on turning raw information into clear, reliable insights that can be used for academic, business, scientific, or market research work.

What you will do

This position involves collecting data from dependable sources such as reports, journals, databases, surveys, interviews, and online materials. You will make sure the information is relevant, accurate, and properly recorded so it can be used for later analysis and reporting.

You will also help interpret data by spotting patterns, trends, and important findings. Part of the job is preparing concise summaries, reports, charts, and presentations that help project teams and stakeholders understand the outcomes of the research.

Depending on the project, you may contribute to literature reviews, background research, and competitive or market analysis. You will help convert large amounts of information into structured formats that support decisions and project planning.

Additional duties may include data entry, survey design, basic statistical work, and maintaining research databases. You will work alongside senior researchers, analysts, or project leads to ensure tasks are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Required profile

The right candidate should have strong attention to detail, natural curiosity, and sound analytical thinking. Success in this role depends on the ability to support research quality, strengthen evidence-based conclusions, and contribute meaningfully to research initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Confident using Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
  • Good planning, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Open to learning new research tools, methods, and workflows.
  • Can work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Practical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.

Additional information

This role is based in Singapore, Singapore and follows a full-time, onsite work arrangement.
