About Mindrift

Mindrift facilitates project-based AI opportunities with leading technology firms, focusing on the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI systems. Participation is structured around specific projects rather than permanent employment.

What This Opportunity Involves

Contributors will engage in a variety of tasks, potentially including:

  • Creating original optics problems that replicate the workflows of actual physics research.
  • Designing problems that are computationally demanding, making them impractical for manual resolution within days or weeks.
  • Developing problems that necessitate complex reasoning chains across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
  • Grounding problems in authentic research challenges or practical applications within optics and physics.
  • Clearly documenting problem statements and providing validated solutions.

What We Look For

This role is suited for physicists interested in part-time, non-permanent project work. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, which can include applied, research, or teaching roles.
  • Proficiency in numerical simulation techniques.
  • The capability to design problems that accurately reflect real-world physics research processes.
  • A creative approach to problem design across various physics domains.
  • Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation methodologies.
  • Excellent written English communication skills, equivalent to C1 level or higher.

How It Works

The process involves applying, successfully completing qualifications, joining a project, performing assigned tasks, and receiving payment.

Project Time Expectations

During active project phases, tasks are estimated to require approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only during the project's active period.

Compensation

For this specific project, participants have the potential to earn up to the equivalent of $45 per hour, contingent upon their skill level and contribution speed. Compensation can differ across various projects based on their scope, complexity, and the expertise required. Other projects available on the platform may offer different earning potentials.

Additional Information

Please submit your CV in English and clearly state your level of English proficiency.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
