Role Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor will lead day-to-day restaurant activity, uphold premium service standards, maintain smooth operations, and support the management team in meeting business goals. The role includes directing service staff, coordinating dining service, responding to guest needs, and ensuring adherence to company procedures along with hygiene, food safety, and workplace health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate restaurant team members throughout assigned shifts.
- Deliver fast, polished, and individualized guest service that reflects luxury hospitality expectations.
- Oversee service quality, restaurant presentation, and cleanliness to ensure brand compliance.
- Support onboarding, coaching, training, and performance follow-up for team members.
- Handle reservations, table planning, and guest movement to improve the dining experience.
- Respond to guest comments and resolve service concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with stock oversight, inventory tracking, and routine operational documentation.
- Maintain full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure coordinated service.
- Help drive revenue, productivity, and guest satisfaction objectives.
Requirements
- Prior supervisory experience in an upscale restaurant or luxury hospitality setting.
- Well-developed leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong guest-service mindset with effective issue-resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of food and beverage service, operational standards, and safety regulations.
- Comfort working in a busy, diverse, and multicultural workplace.
- Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages will be an asset.
- Ability to represent the Raffles & Fairmont brand promise consistently in all interactions.

Eligibility
Professionals with previous supervisory experience in high-end dining or luxury hotel operations are suitable for this role. The position is intended for candidates who can work on-site in Doha Metropolitan Area and are prepared to follow the organization’s assessment-based application process.
