Key Responsibilities

• Execute electrical BIM 3D modeling using REVIT software, adhering to project specifications and utilizing client-provided equipment family databases.
• Develop detailed REVIT 3D models for cable routing systems, including cable trays, cable ladders, conduits, and underground routing within trenches and ducts, along with associated supports and components.
• Create REVIT 3D models for various electrical components such as transformers, motors, switchgear panels, lighting and small power distribution boards (DB), light fixtures, street lights, high-mast lights, junction boxes (JB), Local Control Stations (LCS), electrical switches, and power sockets.
• Generate construction drawings, including plans, sections, and details, derived from the 3D model.
• Produce and maintain construction Material Take-Offs (MTOs) directly from the 3D model.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for items like cable trays, supports, conduits, brackets, bolts, washers, and other fixings, referencing catalogues and manufacturer drawings.
• Collaborate with Civil, Piping, and I&C teams to identify and resolve clashes within the multidisciplinary models.
• Adhere to established drafting standards, naming conventions, and quality requirements throughout the modeling process.
• Ensure model integrity, manage revision control, and maintain consistency between 3D models and 2D outputs.
• Provide support during model reviews and address queries from the construction team.
• Participate actively in BIM clash analysis meetings and contribute necessary outputs.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Design, or Drafting (or an equivalent qualification).
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in REVIT 3D modeling, specifically for electrical substations, power plants, or industrial process plant EPC projects.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in REVIT 3D Electrical modeling within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of cable tray routing, support systems, constructability practices, and the production of construction drawings.
